# Oops all BK: NYU ITP in June

NYU ITP Summer Camp starts again next week. I'm pondering what sessions I might facilitate.

I’m heading [back](https://www.ashryan.io/writing/nyu-itp-2024-sessions/) to [NYU ITP Summer Camp](https://itp.nyu.edu/camp/2025/?ref=ashryan.io) this June. All the way to downtown Brooklyn each day\*.

Last year I facilitated sessions on:

- Talking to LLMs over REST APIs
- General vinyl record nerdery
- …and my wife Ryoko came in and taught an [Ikebana flower arrangement workshop](https://www.hanayou.studio/?ref=ashryan.io)

(Oh wow: that list is my whole life now.)

At the time, I was especially reluctant to host the LLM session because it felt like things were changing so fast. I didn’t want to give people outdated information. But of course, the pace only continues to increase. So maybe it’s more about helping people jump into building with AI than providing a prescribed method of what to do with it.

In fact, just this week, in response to things I saw at last week’s [Astoria Tech meetup](https://www.ashryan.io/writing/astoria-tech-meetup-late-may/), I’ve switched IDEs again, adopted a new input method for my computer, and am starting to deep-dive into MCP usage.

I’ve been keeping a running list of topics I might offer sessions on during this ITP Summer Camp. But even a few days out, it still feels too early. The world (at least on my laptop) could be very different on Monday.
