Help Shape Kyoto Tech Meetup

Kyoto Tech Meetupが成長してきている中で、参加者のみなさんにとっての価値や楽しさを、さらに高める方法を考えたいと思っています。これまではほとんどを自分一人で運営してきましたが、そろそろ体制を広げ、より持続可能な形にしていきたいです。

そこで、ミートアップの企画・運営に関わり、一緒に形を作っていける方を２〜３名募集しています。単なるお手伝いではなく、体験の一部を一緒に担っていくイメージです。

お願いしたいことの例：

• ミートアップやハッカソンの運営サポート
• イベント内容の構成やコミュニケーションなど、特定領域の担当
• アイデア出しと実行
• コミュニティへの継続的な関わり

想定しているコミットメント：

• 毎月のイベントの半分以上に参加
• 月１回の運営ミーティングへの参加
• 週あたり１〜２時間程度の非同期作業

こんな方に向いています：

• Kyoto Tech Meetupにこれまで４回以上参加したことがある方
• 京都にしばらく滞在予定の方
• コミュニティづくりに興味がある方
• 主体的に動くのが好きな方

補足：DevRelやエコシステム関連の仕事に興味がある方にとっては、実践的な経験を積む良い機会になると思います。必要に応じて、メンタリングも行えます。

また、３ヶ月ごとに一度、体制がうまく機能しているかを確認し、必要に応じて見直しを行います。

As the Kyoto Tech Meetup keeps growing, I want to find new ways to offer value and excitement to our members. Up to now I’ve been running most things myself, but it’s time to open it up and make it more sustainable.

I’m looking for 2–3 people who want to help organize and shape the meetup. This is for people who want to co-own parts of the experience, not just help out occasionally.

What that could look like:

• Helping run meetups / hack days
• Owning a piece of the experience (e.g. events, hackday structure, comms)
• Bringing ideas and helping execute on them
• Being a consistent presence in the community

Time commitment:

• Attend at least half of our events each month
• Join a monthly planning session
• Contribute ~1–2 hours per week of async work

This is a good fit if you:

• Have attended at least 4 Kyoto Tech Meetup events
• Plan to be in Kyoto for a while
• Enjoy building community
• Like taking initiative and making things happen

Bonus: if you’re interested in DevRel / ecosystem roles, this is a good way to get hands-on experience. I’m happy to share context and mentorship as we go.

We’ll check in as a group every ~3 months to make sure this is working and adjust as needed.
